Fell in love with the beach! Great place to swim around or just float in the water. We got an older room but can't complain - everything that should work works well: AC, shower, toilet, new TV. Overall the place is calm and relaxing. Food selection is good, some things stay the same, some things change, but even being the picky eater I never went hungry. Drinks were okay, we liked he beer most.

Spent 3 nights in the superior room with sea view. Chose the location due to being a little bit further away from downtown Dahab itself (but still walking distance). In general terms, it's everything you expect from a "resort" in Egypt. Pros: - Great sea view with direct access. - 2 pools - Big area to have nice walk, - A couple of bars for drinks, etc... - A small store to buy beach-related necessities and arrange transportation. - A rather small yet still very functional gym in a hut with good equipment. - Good breakfast (not great, but still enjoyable). - Nice staff that will help you although not very aware of someone looking for help and being proactive. - Bed and pillows were really comfortable, with a really good shower. - Very good internet connection all around the resort and room. Cons: - I hadn't included lunch in my stay and was feeling hungry, so I went to the restaurant for lunch and add the cost to my bill at the check-out, only to find myself with a rather poor choice of food for lunch, lacking some of the more traditional Egyptian dishes and foods. For my personal taste, it wasn't worth what I had to pay. - The air conditioner in the room was considerably loud even with the fan at the lowest setting. They should find a way to make it more silent and be able to enjoy the night tranquility in a place like that. - Lastly, my room was part of a 6-room cluster that unfortunately, was right infront of a new building construction they have going on to extend the resort, so although there was barely any noise, the dust that came through and into my door step and balcony were considerable. I would suggest closing 6 rooms until the construction is done to avoid this. Overall, I do recommend this Resort if you enjoy the beach, sun, mountains and still want a quieter location to just chill.

I went their on my honeymoon 2 years ago. The place is great with an amazing view. Our room was sea view. We were welcomed with a fruit basket and honeymoon cake. Very good variety of food and it tasted delicious. The staff were super friendly. However not all drinks are included in the all inclusive (and here i mean coffee not alcohol), don't know if this rule changed.

Amazing stay at the Lagoon hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. Fantastic location for a relaxing holiday on a beautiful sandy beach and clear, protected sea great for swimming. Spacious grounds and lots of water sports on hand.

This hotel is absolutely perfect if your priorities are a clean and calm sea, everything within walking distance, cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Unfortunately, the food isn’t very special — it’s quite basic, but that’s a matter of taste. For us, a peaceful and relaxing holiday with a beautiful beach and sea was the most important thing, and that’s exactly what we got. We had a wonderful time, were very satisfied, and would definitely choose this place again and recommend it to others. Check-in – 3.5/5 There is an option for early check-in for $20, but if you arrive very early, we strongly recommend booking an extra night in advance. The staff is not very flexible when it comes to early check-in – we had to wait for several hours and really regretted not booking the extra night beforehand. On the positive side, they provided us with free Wi-Fi and allowed us to wait in the lobby while they tried to prepare a room as soon as possible. However, booking an extra night on site was only possible with an upgrade (an additional $25 per night for a sea-view room instead of a garden view). Our main advice: book in advance to make everything smooth and stress-free. Cleanliness – 5/5 The cleanliness was absolutely outstanding! The entire hotel grounds, beach, and restaurant were spotless and perfectly maintained. The staff cleaned the beach regularly, and even the sand was always clean. The rooms were cleaned daily, and we received creative towel figures every day. Beach towels could be exchanged whenever needed, and all towels were in excellent condition. Room – 3.5/5 We had a garden-view room. Unfortunately, we received two separate beds even though we were a couple. They offered a room change after a few days, but we decided to just push the beds together. The room was a bit small, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we spent most of our time outside. Everything was renovated except for the bathroom door, which was heavily damaged and looked terrible — we don’t know what happened to it, but it definitely needed replacing. The air conditioning worked perfectly. There was a kettle, tea, a small fridge, and two bottles of water provided daily. If you needed more water, you could fill it from the water dispenser during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or buy bottled water at the bar. Beach – 5/5 The beach was absolutely fantastic — about a 5-minute walk from any building. There was a bar right by the beach (open 11:00–18:00) where you could get drinks such as 7Up, Miranda, Pepsi (local versions), coffee, tea, cocoa, and soda, as well as alcoholic drinks (we didn’t try those). Drinks were served in plastic cups for cold beverages and paper cups for hot drinks. There were always enough sunbeds available, no matter what time you arrived. The beach, pool, and restaurant were all close together, so you didn’t even need to go back to your room during the day. There was a fun animation program — young staff members regularly invited guests to aqua fitness, stretching, and games. The sea was calm and peaceful, sometimes a bit windy but never a problem. The sandy shore was soft and comfortable, with no coral reefs, making it perfect for children too. Service – 5/5 The staff was always kind, friendly, and eager to help. They spoke English and sometimes Russian. The service was excellent — they would approach you if you had questions, call you if needed, and always solve any issue quickly. Most of the guests were Russian-speaking.

Overall Experience The hotel is calm and comfortable, with a great location, a beautiful beach, good food, and helpful staff. It is a good choice for relaxing and enjoying Dahab. In general, the staff do not start conversations with guests, but when you talk to them, they are very friendly and polite. Location The hotel is about 3 km away from the center of Dahab. It is located directly on the lagoon area. The beach is very big, and you can walk along the beach to nearby hotels. The beach length from the start of the lagoon is about 1000 meters. The water is very clear and calm, and it is suitable for adults and children. It feels like a swimming pool inside the sea. Reception I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 pm. Mr. Ahmed from the reception contacted us before arrival to prepare the room. We got the room immediately without waiting. The reception staff were friendly and polite. We also got a free room upgrade with no extra cost. Room The room was good and clean. The bathroom was very good. The only negative point for me was the loud air conditioner. The room has a terrace facing a big garden and the sea. It was very nice to sit there, drink tea, and relax in the afternoon. Animation Team The evening show was very good and suitable for all ages. The daytime activities were limited. Restaurant My stay was half board (breakfast and dinner). Compared to other hotels I visited in Dahab, the food was good and varied. The taste of the food was very good, especially Egyptian food and grilled dishes. The only strange thing was that there were no hot drinks included with dinner for half board. This was the first time I experienced this in hotels in Dahab, Sharm El Sheikh, or Hurghada. If you feel hungry during the day, you can go to the center of Dahab to buy some snacks from a supermarket and keep them in the room fridge. Room Cleaning Housekeeping came every day to check the room and ask if we needed anything. Special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim from housekeeping for his good service.

Very spacious and brilliantly organised resort with lots of green grounds, directly in the center of a magnificient lagoon - at the bay with mountain view - such a combination is truly amazing! The territory of the resort is huge and the space nicely planned- accommodation in bungalows scaterred around the area or in two-story buildings. Beautifully arranged treas and bushes with colourful flowers and green grass give contrast to azure sky and sea. Everything is nicely decorated, rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day, with air-conditioning. Two pools with sunbeds available all the time, beach with nice sand and turquoise sea, beach bar with soft drinks and drinks. Sun quaranteed every day, as well as warm sea and breathtaking views. Breakfast buffet with variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, wide selection of bread and pies, station where you can order any types of eggs made for you. Lunch with a wide selection of meat and tasty desserts. Dinner offers wide selection of European as well as local dishes - elegant clothes recommended (long trousers and full shoes for men). The resort was an excellent choice - comfortable, quiet and not crowded, stylish, with competent, polite and helpful personnel taking very good care of all the quests. We’d be happy to come back oneday.
